EPFO वेज सीलिंग ₹15,000 से ₹25,000EPFO wage ceiling raised from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000

अधिसूचना S.O. 5109(E) दिनांक 17 सितंबर 2026 के अनुसार EPFO की वेज सीलिंग ₹15,000 से बढ़कर ₹25,000 प्रति माह हो गई है, 17-09-2026 से लागू। अब ₹25,000 तक वेतन वाले कर्मचारी EPF, EPS और EDLI में अनिवार्य रूप से आएँगे।Under notification S.O. 5109(E) dated 17 September 2026 the EPFO wage ceiling is now ₹25,000 per month instead of ₹15,000, effective 17-09-2026. Employees earning up to ₹25,000 are now mandatorily covered under EPF, EPS and EDLI.

सितंबर 2026 की ECR एक ही बनेगी। 1 से 16 सितंबर तक पुरानी ₹15,000 की सीलिंग और 17 से 30 सितंबर तक नई ₹25,000 की सीलिंग से गणना होगी। ECR और भुगतान की अंतिम तारीख 15 अक्टूबर 2026 है।There will be a single ECR for September 2026. Contribution is calculated on the old ₹15,000 ceiling for 1 to 16 September and on the new ₹25,000 ceiling for 17 to 30 September. The due date for the ECR and payment is 15 October 2026.

जो कर्मचारी पहले EPS में नहीं थे और जिनका वेतन ₹15,000 से ₹25,000 है, वे 17-09-2026 से EPS सदस्य बनेंगे। अगर सितंबर में कर्मचारी अंश नहीं कट सका तो उसे अगली पेरोल में वसूला जा सकता है, पर ECR और भुगतान समय पर करना होगा।Employees who were earlier outside EPS and earn ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 become EPS members from 17-09-2026. If the employee share could not be deducted in September it can be recovered in the next payroll, but the ECR and payment must still be on time.
